Actionbioscience.org is an award-winning web site—with both English and Spanish-language content—of the American Institute of Biological Sciences, a nonprofit scientific association dedicated to advancing biological research and education for the welfare of society.
Actionbioscience.org features original topical content—interviews, articles, as well as lesson plans and other educator resources—organized around key biological issues: biodiversity, environment, genomics, biotechnology, evolution, and new frontiers.
Actionbioscience.org has global reach, with visitors from 175 countries in a typical year, including 42% from the U.S., 9% from Mexico, and 72% from the Americas as a whole. All told, over 100,000 unique visitors—professional scientists, educators, students, and the general public—come to actionbioscience.org each month, with half visiting on a monthly or more frequent basis.
