Online newspaper readers flock to ActionBioscience.org

Washington, DC. Thousands of readers of USATODAY.com came to ActionBioscience.org to check it out when it was featured as a "hot site" on January 26, 2006 on USATODAY.com's web site. Brian Cavanaugh of the online paper's hot sites team wrote: ActionBioscience has "easy-to-digest articles by scientists, science educators and students on seven primary areas, including genomics, biotechnology, evolution, and biodiversity." http://www.usatoday.com/tech/hotsites/01-26-hotsites.htm

USATODAY.com, like its hard copy version, USA Today, is managed and produced by the Gannet media group in McLean, VA. The online news service provides visitors with more than 200,000 pages of breaking news, sports, money, life, weather, technology and travel news -- all updated 24 hours a day, seven days a week. According to USATODAY.com more than 10.3 million unique visitors each month turn to their site for the latest news and information.

ActionBioscience.org was already featured as a "hot site" in the hard-copy newspaper USA Today in February 2004.
