Washington, DC. The American Institute of Biological Sciences will share a booth with the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center in the exhibit hall during the annual national conference of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) in Anaheim, California, April 5-9. Attendees are invited to visit booth 1573 to talk to staff about available educational resources.
This year marks the 54th year for the national conference and the launch of an enhanced program. Over the years NSTA has held national and area events that have attracted as many as 20,000 educators annually. The new and improved annual conference is now officially known as The NSTA National Conference on Science Education.
In addition, attendees are invited to a presentation to be given by the editor of ActionBioscience.org, “Issues and Internet in Class Activities” will be held in room Pacific B, Hilton Anaheim, at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 7. The presentation covers two topics: how to use science issues to enhance student learning and how to evaluate a web site for credibility and usability.
