The articles and lessons found on the ActionBioscience.org website are now part of the searchable collection of biology teaching resources at the Biological Science Education Portal, BiosciEdNet.org (BEN). The BEN portal is managed by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and provides access to collections of teaching resources developed by a number of scientific professional societies including the Ecological Society of America, American Society of Microbiology, and Botanical Society of America.
The BEN collaborative is committed to acquiring and developing a wide range of resources to be used for lectures, classroom assignments, and preparation for live hands-on labs. Over time, BEN Collaborative will include resources covering a variety of biological science topics. As BEN evolves, community services will be implemented to assist faculty users in networking with each other. Access to BEN is free but requires registration.
Visit the BEN Portal at http://www.biosciednet.org/ and AAAS at http://www.aaas.org/.
